Free tickets to the stage production of Disney’s animated musical film Lion King, are being offered for Welsh residents, as the Wales Millennium Centre (WMC) gets ready to celebrate its 10th anniversary on November 26. Over 1,700 free tickets will be offered to Welsh residents, aged 18 years and above having a Wales postcode. It will take the form of a ballot. Registration can be made online, or by phone, or by visiting the ticket desk at WMC. The prize draw opens from 23rd September. The show of The Lion King at the WMC will be staged from 6th November, 2014 to 11th January, 2015.
The managing director of WMC, Mathew Milsom, said they were indebted to the millions who have purchased tickets for shows hosted here, contributing to their success. He appreciated all supporters, parents, teachers and Lloyds Bank to have given enriching arts experiences to more than two hundred thousand young people, many of whom are from disadvantaged communities.
