Free golf taster sessions offered by CLGC
If you would like to try out your hand at golf, then you’re welcome to the free taster sessions being offered by Central London Golf Centre (CLGC). Golf is a wonderful game and fit for all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Golf is a sport which gives you benefits of regular exercise too. It takes you out to the great open outdoors and is played often in wonderful surroundings. It’s a game you can play for life.
The Central London Golf Centre is now offering free taster sessions for beginners, with also follow up courses. Golf equipment and balls will be provided for taster sessions. CLGC in conjunction with the initiative ‘Get into Golf’ of the England Golf Partnership, is offering the free golf tasters. More people are interested in trying it out. The next free taster sessions are on- 27th September; 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th October. All sessions are scheduled at 3pm and on Saturdays. Free tickets by Test Drive the Arts NI
If you want free tickets to arts events and performances in Fermanagh, sign-up with Test Drive the Arts NI. Unsold tickets are being allocated by Test Drive the Arts NI to people, to engage with local arts events in which Ardhowen Theatre, the local venue, is taking part.
Test Drive the Arts NI introduces people for the first time to the arts. Or it gets them to re-engage with the local venue. Test Drive offers people guest tickers from unsold or spare capacity. By filling in an empty seat, they make it into a valuable tool to increase and develop audiences and for revenue in the future.
Jackie Owens, manager of Ardhowen Theatre, is delighted to work with the project as it has proved to be effective in introducing people to theatre, those who usually never attend. Audience Northern Ireland’s Test Drive the Arts gives people the opportunity to try something new or rediscover something that used to be enjoyed, he added.
Over 20,000 tickets have been allocated by the Audiences NI initiative to music, theatre, comedy and dance events across Northern Ireland. Dorchester offers various free taster sessions and workshops
‘Try This’ is back following the success that it enjoyed last year. This event for 8 days is free and is a skills enhancing project, for the local community especially, which will be held from 27th September (Saturday) to 4th October (Saturday).
‘Try This’ will include a range of fee activities in the weekend, during lunch-time and also evening activities which will run everyday. A day full of events will be held at the Dorchester Community Farm. Find here at this free event a time-table of more than 40 activities, that includes photography, First-Aid, Bee Keeping, computer skills, Nordic Walking and many, many more.
The last year found many of the sessions and activities at the free event fully booked, so please book early.
