Free cycle ride event in Wakefield city soon

There’s a big cycle ride event again back in the city of Wakefield, which is a free event. The free event will take place on 21^st September, Sunday. Roads in the city centre of Wakefield will be closed to other traffic to allow all cyclists participating to safely ride around the place. The 1.3km bicycle ride around the Wakefield city centre is a joy for all ages and the free event is called ‘Get Wakefield Moving’. To give a helping hand and advise, you’ll find here the Change 4 Life team, the National Trust and also cycling groups. A bike sculpture workshop will be run by Faceless, which is a unique activity on the day. Other activities include taster sessions, sporting activities, music events and live entertainment.
