The first free film festival of London Fields aims to present a 10-day celebration of cinema. The London Fields Free Film Festival would attract the local audience to a number of venues all over London Fields. The dates announced for the free film festival are- from 17th October to 25th October.
London Field known for its unconventional art & culture scene, will showcase here a diverse collection of shorts, documentaries, animation, features and experimental films. Take part in special and free events taking place right across a range of new and classic venues, under a free and fun environment. The festival aims to focus on Hackney/London based film-makers/works and pay tribute to the talent of the diverse local community here. It also aims to support local talent, bring them to a wider audience and also host a film competition. The festival is part of the Free Film Festival community group and adds to the four other already established film festivals across London. The Festival organiser, Daniel Theo, is excited to lead the free film festival, to meet and work with the people of London Fields and providing enjoyable free events across popular public spaces.
