August 16th, 2014 by Sandy

There will be special event at the Market Cross in Glstonbury, which is a Flash Mob taking inspiration from Bollywood. A dance organisation, Mean Feet Dance, is working to create the dance event on 23rd August, Saturday, and make it happen here. They will be offering free workshops to promote the event, to anyone and of any age. Mean Dance Feet run by Viv Gordon, Artistiv Director, is a leading Community Dance organisation. This event is part of the ‘Off The Streets’ summer festival and they are working with the Children’s World Charity.

Two free workshops will be conducted at the Assembly Rooms. First one is on 18 August, Monday. On 23 August there will another one, as a refresher and for anyone who missed the first. Both will be from 11am to 12.30pm. Participants are supposed to teach the dance routine to friends over the week, so that there will be enough people to fill the Market Cross in Glastonbury. The Flash Mob inspired by Bollywood will perform on 23rd August and will start at 12.30pm. This is a free event open to everyone. Just be in the place at the time.
