North Notts Arena is hosting a free bowling taster session on Sunday, the 17th of August 2014, between 10 am and 4 pm. Get inspired and try your hand this summer at the bowls in North Notts Arena. With bowls being in the spotlight due to the recently concluded Glasgow commonwealth games in Scotland, the community arena in North Notts is looking forward to getting more and more people to play this sport during this summer at the venue. This free taster session is being held with the objective of helping to boost the overall sports profile existing in the Worksop as well as the surrounding Bassetlaw areas.
The sessions are welcome for everyone, right from the complete beginners to those who want to return to the game, while all the bowling equipment will be provided for free at the venue during the bowls taster sessions. Matt Bloor of the Notts County council’s sports development office has highlighted this great work that is taking place at the community arena. He also highlighted the initiatives of the Notts clubs while also lauding their hugely pro-active nature.
