Wolverhampton city, a metropolitan borough located in the West Midlands, is hosting a free fun day this summer. Get ready for the summer to sizzle at the West Park on Sunday, the 17th of August, 2014 during the family fun day. This is the fifth year of this popular park hosting a huge bonanza of activities while keeping the entire family entertained. Signal 107 will be broadcasting live the events of the day and the city’s parachute regiment will put on a World War II military vehicles fleet display.
Another added attraction this year is the ‘Black Country Sportivate’ sponsored new sports arena which will give people a chance in trying their hands at dozens of various sports activities while also signing up for free sports sessions during the fun day. ‘Lighthouse Media Centre’ will be providing a series of show stopping acts. Wolverhampton Police’s PC Joe Trusselle has helped in organizing this event. This family fun day will be featuring other activities also such as inflatable assault course, climbing wall and pony rides as well. This year’s event promises to be better and bigger than the last year, with the cash raised from the events going to Wolverhampton’s multiple-sclerosis therapy centre as well as the parachute regiment. Everyone gets free entry at this family fun day at Wolverhampton.
