The Bath Carnival is taking place at the Bath city in Somerset on Saturday, the 16th of August, 2014, with free entry for all. The carnival is the grand culmination of months of preparation and planning as well as costume decorations, all uniting towards celebrating this festival day of fun, art, music, and carnival dance. On the carnival day, Sydney Gardens in the Bath’s city centre will be hosting a wide range of festival themed activities that are not only fun but also free events, absolutely for the enjoyment of families and children.
Local bands will be taking to the stage, while people gather, rehearse and perform for the ultimate finale, the grand parade. You can simply join in the celebrations, either alone or by bringing in your family as well as friends. The carnival day will be captivating as usual, while also being filled with glitter, feathers, silver foils and all. The grand procession and parade will be congregating grandly at Holburne Museum, to the sounds of samba drumming rhythms, carnival dancers, pomp, fanfare and celebrations!
