Free taster sessions in creative writing are being held at Cramlington. Eligible young writers in the age group of 12 to 19 are invited to take part in this writing program to be held between 11 am and 4 pm from Monday, the 18th of August to Friday, the 22nd of August, 2014 at the Cramlington library. New Writing North as well as Bait are conducting this Cuckoo Young Writers program which will be running these taster sessions towards supporting young writers in learning, developing and honing their skills in creative writing.
The young participants can have fun and relax during these sessions which will be conducted by experienced wordsmiths, playwrights, writers and poets. The faculty will be guiding the youngster group in trying out different ranges of writing techniques as well as styles, covering topics such as spoken words, poetry and scriptwriting.
