Free Summer Garden Series start at St.George’s Bristol

The Summer Garden Series has started off in St.George’s Bristol offering free music events on every Friday and Saturday throughout August. From the 1st to 31st August , people get the chance to enjoy free events, on this famous venue’s grounds, just a little away from Park Street.

The Summer Garden Series will host a jazz concert with original scores featuring Trish Brown and her band. The series will also feature 11 Magpies and Bad Cherries, the local bands, and also Pedal Folk, Bistol Brass Quartet, O’Brien and Wilins Trio, Daisy Chapman, Greg Codez and Jim Blomfield. The free event will also offer here food and also drinks from The Rummer Hotel. The final day of the series will host St.George’s Musical Picnic Day, which is on 31st August, Sunday. But this all-day family event is ticketed.

Suzanne Rolt, St. George’s Director, said the series here was about celebrating and letting people share the beautiful outdoor space in the centre of the city. This festival city and the Summer Garden Series helps people discover St.George and the extraordinary music, she added.
