Free ‘Active August’ sports programs are to be held at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, between the 4th of August and the 24th of August, 2014, to keep Londoners busy and active during these summer holidays. Just come along to the venue and join the team playing your favourite sport, or you could even try out new ones as well. Whether you fancy aerobics, street cricket, Nordic walking or family fit sessions, the Active August sports program has one for everyone, as it gives choices of games for all its participants.
The free sports activities in this Active August program includes athletics sessions, informal running, walking groups, dry rowing competitions and activities, duathlon tasters, triathlon activities, mini tennis coaching, table tennis, go spike challenge, volleyball games, body weight exercises, frisbee taster sessions and more. For a full session of 20 days, the Olympic park will be hosting a myriad of sports activities in a non-competitive atmosphere. This Active August series provides a variety of keep-fit activities to anyone participating, including all abilities and levels involving almost everything right from tone up to turn up at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.
