Free festival and music workshop to be held in Chatburn
As part of the “Our Big Gig” weekend, which is community celebration being held across England and Scotland that celebrates local music talents, Chatburn, East Lancashire, will be hosting a music and fun festival that will be held on 13th July (Sunday). A number of performers will be attending and a free workshop will be run by guitarist Scott Robertson, for all who come with a guitar and to learn something new as well.
Davos Live dance DJ-keyboardist from Warrington, will also be performing. Julie Hesmondhalgh, famous TV artist, will also be coming to give support. Other activities include children’s inflatables, “Human Table Football” and other attractions. Organiser Andy Oliver (and local musician) said that although this is a free musical event, it has lots for all in the family.
Free workshop for pet owners at Bletchley
Here is a useful free workshop for pet owners who like to protect their pet animals from the heat and sun of this long summer. The event is being hosted by Pets At Home, Bletchley, Milton Keynes. Pet owners can come to the venue on 13 July, Saturday, from 2pm to 3pm. The employees here will help to cover topics such as- keeping pet hydrated, walking the animals in the heat and safety measures while travelling with pets during summer time. The assistant store manager, Shauna Price, said the workshop will help pet owners with information and extra measures they can take to keep their pets safe and healthy during the summer months. The manager also said the dogs are not as proactive as cats and so had to be cared for unlike pets like cats who find their own cool ways.
Get free tickets to a Royal Opera House performance at Trent Bridge
The Royal Opera House will be performing ‘La Boheme’ at Trent Bridge, Nottinghamshire’s iconic sporting venue, on 15 July, Tuesday, at 7:30pm. Tickets will be given free of charge, but for a fee of £2 as booking charges for online purchase, or through the Ticket hotline – 08448118711. Puccini’s magical music, performed by a superb cast, will transport you to 19th century Paris into the artist quarters.
For the first time the Test Match Venue of Trent Bridge will broadcast the performance on Europe’s biggest outdoor screen, using the 150 sq.mt. screen there. The screening is part of a series of screenings supported by Haart Estate agents and BP that is nation-wide.
