Come, join the fun at Mayor’s Newham Carnival on Saturday, the 12th of July, 2014, from 2:00pm onwards at the Central Park in East Ham. This vibrant carnival is absolutely a gala gathering in which community groups, schools, young people and children, all get a chance for a famous get together towards setting the streets literally ablaze with some of the most vivid colours, eclectic music, hip shaking dancing plus plenty of fun and games.
The Football World Cup 2014, currently underway in Brazil, is the inspirational theme for this year’s carnival. What else, expect the unexpected in the form of salsa, steel bands and samba as well. Okay, party revelers…the time is ripe to grab your pair of maracas while also getting into party mood. Get along with the crowd in this fabulous free event, either by participating in events or by cheering them in the Mayor’s Newham Carnival.
