Puppet workshops in Frome are being held this month. Frome Puppet Workshops are run every Wednesdays in the afternoons, starting at 1:30PM, going up to around 5:30PM, at the Scout Hut on Welshmill Lane. Those who are interested can learn making or creating puppets, or even perform with puppets of all kinds. They can be rod puppets, or glove puppets, or finger puppets, or can be masks or monsters, and many more.
Greg Stephens of the workshop says it is a very creative time to spend with no boundaries or defined structure, with lot of fun, interacting with a very creative group of puppet makers and performers. There will be guidance and help available too. Everyone from beginners to experts are welcome to the fun-filled puppet-based theatrical workshop, including children who are accompanied by a parent, with some refreshments and materials too available.
