Free training sessions offered by honoured martial artist
Grant Guirey, the martial artist from Romford, has been honoured by the Martial Arts Illustrated magazine. He has been awarded an accolade of being named in the Hall of Fame of the magazine. Guirey, aged 41, runs the Battlefield Muay Thai Gym. One of the youngest ever recipients of the prestigious award, the gym boss collected it from the editor Bob Sykes, at a special ceremony in Staffordshire. Grant Guirey has taken special training in many martial arts, including MMA Boxing, judo and several styles of karate. He believes the martial arts are more about self-development than mere defence. Free Tickets for Gala Performance by MD Productions and Kids Company
MD Productions, for its Emotions project, is all set to give away 2300 free tickets for its Liverpool show to be staged at the Empire Theatre in Liverpool. This gala performance is scheduled to take place on July 9, 2014, Wednesday, at 07:45 pm. Last year, MD Productions had partnered with Kids Company towards creating this Emotions project and some of the core costs have been covered by the Kids Company. MD Productions Director, Miguel Doforo, along with Kids Company Director-Founder, Camila Batmanghelidjh, have come together towards hosting this grand show involving 100 young performers who constantly need both therapeutic as well as practical support.
