On 7th June, Saturday, the United Animal Friends (UFA) will be conducting a free workshop at Prescott Public Library, in the Founders Room A. The workshop is helping with a solution for unfixed and free-roaming cats in the community. Anyone willing to be a part of the solution are invited to attend the workshop. The Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) Workshop will explain many aspects, such as, community resources for TNR, getting advice or borrowing traps, the process of feeding and trapping cats, recovery, colony management and what is expected at vet’s clinic. UFA will also cover special considerations while trapping, discuss socializing feral kittens for adoption, discuss pregnancy and kittens, all under the context of the TNR programme. Make a compassionate difference to community cats. To know more about the workshop, call 778-1491 to RSVP.
