A free event the Rother Cycle Day’ will be held on 10 May, Saturday from 10am to 2pm, at Ravenside Retail Park, Bexhill. The event is open to the general public who are interested and willing to join in with the fun with cycling.
Nationally accredited instructors will provide free taster sessions in cycle training. Also offered will be crime prevention advice, bicycle maintenance tips, related freebies and more. There will be a fund raising for the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust, through a charity cycling challenge. Local emergency services will participate in the event, a ‘friendly competition’ of endurance between ambulance, police and fire services.
