Free demonstration events and training workshops will be held for farmers and landowners from 9 January to 19 March. The event will take place for those who look after land in the river Torridge catchment in North Devon and will cover farming tasks such as soil management, woodland and hedge-laying.
The NIA (Northern Devon Nature Improvement Area) project aims to improve local landscape for both nature and people by restoring and expanding wild life rich areas. This project became operational from the year 2012 and has so far worked with more than 200 local farmers and land owners.
The event has already begun and hence interested persons can attend the event to understand about different ways of tackling issues.
