Free parking at Brighton and Hove this Sunday too
Free parking facility has encouraged visitors to Brighton and Hove to stay back and spend more time for shopping and others thereby helping business to develop. Free parking was provided at places such as London Road, Trafalgar Street, High Street, Regency Square and Norton Road. Businesses need to kindly note that free parking will be available this Sunday (22 December) too.
Although the Green Administration called the move to be anti-business, most of the councillors voted in favour of it. Few shoppers feel that not having to pay for parking does encourage them to do a lot more of different activities apart from shopping. Free parking on the other hand helped to boost both local and independent businesses. Some also claimed that free parking facility was not advertised effectively and did not stay for the whole year.
Free Christmas networking party ‘Bizmas’ at Hinckley
‘Bizmas’ is a free event organised to bring to businesses the festive cheer, plus give an opportunity to mingle. Over 300 businesses from Hinckley and the surrounding villages are being invited to the networking party, to take place at Kasey Bar, Regent Street, on 12 December in Hinckley. It will start off at 5.30 pm, and there will be a disco, a St.Mary’s Brass Band performance, including a free buffet. Any person who is business owner, with a guest too, hailing form Hinckley and the surrounding areas, are welcome to attend the sponsored free event. Free session on Crossfit strength and training programme
Crossfit is a strength and positive training programme with a supportive communit and promotes health and all-round fitness. To get started take up a free introductory session. It lasts for about an hour and anyone participating will get to know the basic movements in workouts and gain an overview of their classes.
