Christmas Carol Service

At St Joseph’s Church, Gateshead

Annual Christmas Carol service is scheduled to be held at St Joseph’s Church between 7pm – 8pm on December 11 (Wednesday) in Gateshead. Carol songs will be sung by students of St Augustine’s Primary School. They will also perform Felling Brass Band.

Parking facilities will be provided at Regent Court, Civic Centre and Church Street. Refreshments will be given away in the church hall after the service. The location of St Joseph’s Church is near the Metro and Bus interchange in the Gateshead town centre.

 

At Talbot Memorial Park

There will be public carol service at the Talbot Memorial Park at 5.30pm on 6 December (Friday). Friends of Talbot Memorial Park group volunteers will bring in performances from school children. On this occasion, Woodwind Orchestra and Brass Band of Dyffryn Comprehensive School along with YGG Rhosafan and Central Juniors School, Eastern Primary School will conduct choirs. Father Mark Williams from the St Theodore’s Church will conduct the service.

According to the chairman of the friends group, the local community is invited to exhibit the young talents and at the same instances entertain the public during the event. He insists local schools, volunteers, Tata Steel, Neath Port Talbot Council and others to extend their support for this event.
