The MP for Newcastle North, Catherine McKinnell, is urging all schools in her constituency to take part in the Clearspace competition. The contest is open to all schools of the United Kingdom. The contest is being conducted by Clearspace Buildings, a local company that designs high-quality classrooms, suitable to seat 30 pupils, that is worth 90,000 . The MP said that she was encouraging schools to enter the Clearspace Competition, as a number of schools in the constituency need high-quality classroom.
