Former show presentator of BBC Coventry and Warwickshire breakfast show, Liz Kershaw, is fund-raising to aid Age-UK, Warwickshire, by starting a fund-raising walk on Sunday, the 7th of October. The former broadcaster will officially start the walk, in the historic grounds of Warwick Castle, as the patron of the charity branch in Warwickshire.
The walk is organised for raising money for a new minibus. Georgina Morgan the fund-raising manager says that the walk is suitable for all in the family, including children, parents and grandparents. All the children in the event get to visit the Princess Tower in the castle, and can also dress up as knights and princesses for the event. After the registration at 9am, which is £6 per person, the walk will start at 10 am on the castle grounds, which is picturesque with gardens and birds. Entrants will be allowed, for the whole day for free, into the castle and its grounds. Free parking will be allowed until noon and children aged below 5 can enter the walk for free.
