Free Hearing ScreeningsAll employees working in a steel manufacturing unit in the county of East Yorkshire will participate in hearing screenings.

The hearing screenings will arrive at B W Industries located in Bridlington in the month of October. This is being brought to the steel manufacturing company by the National Charity Deafness Research UK, and employees in the firm will be in a position to participate in the screenings and avail of significant information concerning ear health.

The Chief Executive of Deafness Research UK, Vivienne Michael stated that offering hearing screenings free of cost was a terrific way to know if one’s hearing was as it should really be.

Vivienne Michael said that irrespective of whether the participant is exposed to loud noises either when they are at work or during their leisure, the firm hoped that the opportunity to get the ear health examined would be of assistance to take care of health and safety while they are in their places of work and urge any person who was worried about their hearing to get checked up.

Any person interested in getting the hearing screenings or would like the Bionic Ear Roadshow to make a visit to their company, school, or community group free of cost would have to get in touch with Laura Turner at the Deafness Research UK on the number 0207 1672294 or send her an email to laura.turner@deafnessresearch.org.uk.
