A gym in Long Eaton is urging people to get into shape as part of its National Fitness Day.
There is a gymnasium in the LONG Eaton that is trying to motivate people to get fit and stay in shape as a part of its National Fitness Day.
The Energie Gym is inviting people to walk in to their centre on Friday the 28th of the current month to avail of a free aerobic session that would last half an hour. They are located at the Bandstand in West Park, Long Eaton.
The class would commence at noon time and it would be the first of a sequence of such programmes throughout the United Kingdom with the express objective of getting people to get and stay into better shape and stay that way.
The Manager of the Gym, Maria Lambourne stated that any person could join and attend the free thirty minute session. She said that they were hoping that it would be a place that would encourage people to follow a newer, better and healthier way of life. She went on to say that if they were able to motivate a person into doing regular workouts then they would really get the feeling that they had accomplished their goal.
There is a charity called ‘When You Wish Upon a Star’ located in Basford and people who wish to contribute to this children’s charity could do so. The money collected would be used to fulfil the wishes of terminally ill children.
