Free Learning ScotlandIt was declared by My Learning (UK) Ltd. That they would be offering free learning interfaces and facilities on Scottish schools.

Schools in Scotland will soon benefit from free learning platforms and facilities immediately with these facilities being provided free of cost by the firm My Learning (UK) Ltd. This was announced by the company. The firm also hopes that schools in the country would be able to take advantage of the services without being afraid of the costs or agreements for these services.

The decision by My Learning to offer free resources was taken in the month of August following the withdrawal of the same interest shown by Google UK on the 22nd of May of the current year. This withdrawal was taken in order to put in a proposal for the delivery of “Next Generation Glow” in the country. There were a lot of schools that were eagerly awaiting the thrills of “Glow 2” that would have been set in motion by Google Apps for Education.

Alan Sawyers, the business development Manager at My Learning remarked that the Scottish schools had to bear with a lot of confusion in the course of the coming year following the unforeseen retraction by Google. As of now, he stated that plenty of schools as well as local offices are looking for other free solutions other than the delivery of the Glow. Mr. Sawyers stated that their product would provide integration with Google and this would imply that the schools could go on with their association with Google. He stated that typically his firm My Learning was of the strong opinion that people in the educational profession must be offered alternatives and their product would hence be provided free of cost to any school in Scotland.
