Free music at Southbank’s Royal Festival Hall
The Southbank’s major concert hall for orchestral concerts is the Royal Festival Hall. Treat yourself to free lunchtime music in the Central Bar of this concert hall on Fridays and Sundays. Royal Festival Hall is open for entry everyday from 10am to 11pm and entry to Southbank Centre and all buildings is free. Opened in 1951 the concert hall is one the world’s leading venues and stands at the heart of the Southbank Centre complex. Other buildings are the Southbank Centre Shop, the Clore Ballroom, the Saison Poetry Library and several places for food and drink.
Free school meals and uniform grant
Children attending school in Luton are eligible to receive a free school meal, but the child to be eligible, must attend for at least one session before lunch and one session after. Children attending the school need not be from Luton, but their parents should be receiving a qualifying benefit, which is as listed out in the luton.gov.uk site. For a child living in Luton, but attending a school elsewhere outside Luton, his or her parents can apply to the local authority, where that school is based, for the free school meal. The application will be cross-checked with the main government database before the child receives the free school meals.
If the child qualifies for free school meals, then the child can receive a school uniform voucher too. Vouchers of a value of £25 per child are available until statutory school age. The child should be 4 years old and above to receive a voucher. The child will not qualify for the school uniform voucher if she or he lives outside of the borough, although attending school in Luton.

Kuk Sool Won to conduct free Martial Arts Session
