Work skills course for free ready to commence in Walton

Free Work Skills CourseA fourteen week long course will be held in Walton every Friday from the 14th of September between 10 in the morning and 2.0 in the afternoons in Mayfield, 74 Hersham Road, Walton. This workshop is especially intended for unemployed people in the 19 years to 30 years age group.

A workshop in work skills will be conducted in Elmbridge towards the end of the current week targeting people who are between 19 and 30 year of age. The main emphasis of the course would be team building and visits to outdoor locations.

Other topics that would be covered during the course concerns recognising and building on strengths, writing well and doing excellently at interviews and also about how to search for and send in an application for a job.

The certification that would be presented on completion of the course will be the EDEXCEL Level 1 Short Award in Work Skills and Level 1 Short Award in Progression.

Lunch will be provided free for the people attending the course. Those who complete the whole course would also be provided with cinema tickets for free.
