There are approximately 465,000 people who will be seventy five years old this current year and TV Licensing and Independent Age will be gifting all such people free TV Licenses on their seventy fifth birthdays.
Any person who is seventy five years or older is entitled to receive a free TV License for their main address. As ,mentioned earlier there are at present there are presently more than four hundred thousand people who are therefore eligible for this free offer. There are more that 4.9 million people who are more than seventy five years of age in the United Kingdom and TV licensing is urging anyone who are in a position to avail of the free offer to put in an application either via the Internet or the telephone.
