The Paralympic Team GB’s victories have become an inspiration to a sporting dup who are offering disabled people to give archery a try.
Following the victory of Danielle Brown who won the Paralympic Game title in archery, Robert and Rose Jobson have decided to provide people who are disabled and confined to wheelchairs an opportunity to try their hands at archery and shooting.
Rose and Robert Jobson the proprietors of White lodge Shooting School, located close to Thornton Abbey, Ulceby is where disabled people will be provided with a whole day’s free tuition.
Mr. Robert Jobson who has over 40 years of experience in giving coaching stated that he was ready to offer a day’s coaching in air rifle shooting, clay pigeon shooting and archery to the disabled people. His wife is a past British Ladies Champion and a contender for the world champion title.
He said that he was willing to offer these coaching classes free of charge thereby giving the people an opportunity to try their hand at the event and determine whether they have a flair for it. He went on to say that it could even be made a regular event every year.
The proprietors of the school declared that they would even host a hog roast for all participants to commemorate their initial efforts at Paralympic sports. He requested of the sponsors of the programme to contact them and stated that the free tuition classes would be offered only to people who are confined to wheelchairs and for those who book their places ahead of the date of the session.
Mr. Jobson went on to state that he and his wife have seen it on the TV and were deeply affected by the skills and devotion of the competitors. He in fact stated that it would be shameful if interested disabled people had the urge to practice the sport but did not have anyone to offer them coaching classes.
He reiterated that he had the requisite knowledge to provide the coaching to people confined to wheelchairs right through his career as a coach.
All business owners have been requested by the owners of the White Lodge Shooting School to assist in backing the cause and the groups of disabled people.
Robert Jobson also said that if they were able to bet hold of a little business, they would then be able to provide the money earned to charities.
