Free Career Advice and Ice CreamThe National Careers Service road show provided shoppers with free career counselling and ice cream.

People who attended the National Careers Service road show seemed to have great fun when they were offered free ice cream on a sunny day.

The service van belonging to the National Careers Service had many experienced and trained careers advisers and offered a lot of details regarding studies as well as work. This road show was held on Friday the 31st of August.

A careers adviser, Ms. Tracy Bell who works alongside people in Crawley stated that all the careers advisers had spent all their hours working with the people in the locality giving those answers to questions that concerned both work and training, offering them support regarding the decisions they planned to take and also to make them realise their true capabilities.

She went on to say that they were aware that the road show would assist in increasing the understanding of the facility that they could avail of and at the same time permit the advisers to get to more people in the region.

Free unbiased counsel related to jobs, aptitudes and training was being offered by the National Careers Service via the telephone, via interactive sites or for the older people through direct contact in the community.
