It has been announced by the Terence Higgins Trust that it would be conducting a free course that targets patients who have been affected by HIV.
This charitable trust will be working in coordination with Sussex Community NHS Trust to conduct a course totally free of cost. The course would be conducted on the 4th of the coming month and will be an ongoing process for seven whole weeks. The venue will be the Charis Centre, located in West Green Drive.
The classes that would be carried out would offer all the people participating it then the opportunity to get to know others who have also been affected with HIV, help create required support systems, and also boost up their self confidence. Some of the topics that would be covered during the course of the sessions would consist of the significance of ensuring that the medicines for HIV are taken regularly, the various ways HIV patients can learn the art of relaxation, how they can manage tiredness and exhaustion as well as what they can do to plan for what is to come.
People who are interested in ensuring that they have a place for the free sessions, can get in touch with Sue Sargent either on 01273 764223 or 07917 815875 or send an email to her at sue.sargent@tht.ogg.uk.
