Some exclusive curries and sauces have been made by a couple in Scunthorpe and they are giving away free samples via the Scunthorpe Telegraph.
The 42 year old Ms. Parvin Akthar who owns the Bay Tree Indian Restaurant located in Cambridge Avenue in Scunthorpe along with her 48 year old husband Mr. Sheraz Islam, who is the development chef, have come out with six different types of curry sauces.
Ms. Parvin stated that they plan was to offer the people who cook at home the chance to cook an original curry in a matter of ten or fifteen minutes. In the normal course a curry would take about an hour or more to be made and would require a wide range of spices.
She went on to say that any kind of meat, fish or vegetables could be used with the sauces that they had prepared.
These curry sauces have many exclusive selling points like the fact that they are fresh and made by hand, utilises natural ingredients and have life of 16 weeks in a refrigerator. They can also be used by vegetarians and said that they had not added any artificial preservatives.
Ms. Parvin went on to say that her husband had been utilising these sauces for the last 28 years. She remarked that the sauces were a preferred thing in their restaurant and their regular clients have been requesting them since many years for the curry sauces that they could carry home.
She said that the sauces are available in pouches that can be resealed and have reduced fat content.
She went on to add that they are extremely proud of their finished products and stated that it is heartening to find that people were coming back to them for more.
