Reading Festival offersThe Reading festival in UK are planning to offer all people who attend the festival a free beer and breakfast sandwich throughout the days of the programme.

Usually the rock music celebrations are well known as much for the exorbitant prices charged on food and beverages, as they are for their live shows. Nevertheless this time over, the Reading Festival in the UK is as per news received from NME, offering ticket holders a free beer and sandwich every day.

This was elucidated by Melvin Benn of the Festival Republic when he stated that Beer and Burger had been altered to Beer and Breakfast Bap (B&BB). He said that it went without saying that beer did not mean just beer alone they would be serving soft drinks too. The pointed that the idea was easy to decipher. All people who have a ticket would be provided with coupons when they purchase their ticket, where a daily voucher for a particular day van be exchanged at expressly made ‘Food for Campers’ kiosks in the campus, and these would be providing a bacon sausage or scrambled eggs and mushroom bap.

He stated that the breakfast bap could be availed of between 7 am and noon time on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. He said that only coupons for those specific days could be exchanged. He remarked that in spite of the fact that they have as yet not received any sponsorship for this; their friends at Hienz have kindly contributed plenty of sauce to ensure satisfaction.

As for the beer part of it, he said that was far easier because a ticket holder first passes through the wristband exchange a group of helpers at festival would be ready to provide everyone who has a weekend wristband with a bag that is filled with three beer or soft drinks cans. The three cans are supposed to be for the three days of the music festival. The great news is that the bag that carries the beer or soft drink cans are recyclable and if they are filled up with empty beer cans and returned the person can collect more free beer! Mr. Benn stated that it was on the house and hopes that everyone would have fun and enjoy.

The Festival in Reading has been going on since the year 1971, and is held on the last weekend of the month of August. The significant participants consist of Nirvana, Metallica and The Stone Roses.
