Charity aims free confidential advice at missing children

Confidential Advice to youngstersA special service and helpline for missing kids and young people has been established to provide private counsel to the younger generation.

Made specifically by the council of Halton Borough, Catch22 has started the facility by joining hands with the offices in the localities of Cheshire East, Cheshire West, Warrington and Chester.

The Missing People Charity is backed by the phone line of the service that has been kept open throughout the whole day and night all year round.

The main objective of the service is to connect youngsters to hold fort in that area.

The Cabinet Member for Children and Family Services, Councillor Hilda Gaddum stated that she was happy to greet this novel service that would assist to connect with kids who have been missing from their homes, thereby putting themselves in great dangers.

She said the cause for their missing could be different and complicated.

Ms. Gaddum also mentioned that the staff members belonging to the service were currently working on the kids as well as their families or care takers to help lower the dangers as well as the number of kids and youngsters who have gone missing every year.

The Missing From Homer Co-ordinator at Catch22, Ms. Kathy Boardman mentioned that just a little emotional help and someone who has the patience to listen to them, older people who can spare the time to hear their issues, can greatly assist a child to live a safer life then and into the future.
