Free sport and play activities at Worcester
Glad news for all children at Worcester! Worcester City Council along with the Worcester Play Council, supported by Worcester Community Trust is holding hundreds of hours of free sports and games at 20 Worcester venues this summer vacation. Activities such as “messy” play, den building, cricket, tennis and more will be held in open spaces, city’s parks and community centres. This programme is being conducted Monday to Friday from 23rd July until 24th August 2012. Not only children aged 2 to 18 but families and local groups can also take part in this programme. Children aged under 16 must be accompanied with a responsible adult and also sign before the beginning of the event.
During the second week of the programme there will be eight play days Gorse Hill, Warndon and Tolladine. Not only these, there will be 13 Community Games in the last week as well. All of these sessions will be guided by qualified and trained CRB checked staff. However, every participant must get consent from their parents or carer before joining this event.
