All the Tesco Extra stores across the UK will benefit from high-speed Wi-Fi services. Broadband and mobile operator in the UK, O2 is facilitating the rollout of Free Wi-Fi in these stores. Customers visiting the Tesco Extra stores can benefit from wireless internet free of cost. They can access internet from their Wi-Fi enabled devices. However, they are required to sign up with their club membership card number. Customers who sign up with their card number can access the service for hours while those who don’t have a membership card can enjoy the service for 15 minutes each 24 hours. Members can benefit from unlimited internet access.

By offering this service, customers can browse across the product specifications and price details from their handsets or devices. Besides, free internet access also offers entertainment and fun to customers while shopping.

By providing membership account online, customers get necessary tally information. With this new initiative, Tesco becomes the first supermarket chair in the UK to offer such service. Free in-store internet will attract more customers and enhance their shopping experience.

By opening up Wi-Fi service in Tesco Extra stores, the company hopes to expand their customer base. As per a recent report, customers who have experienced this service at Tesco Extra stores will return back.
