Business leaders can benefit from FREE half-day legal conference

February 10th, 2012 by Sandy

Business leaders can take advantage of the FREE half-day legal conference. Hosted by the North Wales branch of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and ACCA Cymru Wales (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), the event will be held shortly this month. The event will offer an update on the Bribery Act, the anti-corruption law that came into force previous year. Directors will be reminded about their legal responsibilities and liabilities in a session. It will also cover a review of the latest pension and employment law.

A presentation will be made by Aaron & Partners, chairwoman of the branch and head of employment law, Helen Watson. She will be accompanied by other speakers. Businesses who want to stay updated with the recent legal laws and developments will benefit from this free half-day legal conference. Senior executives starting from manager level can participate in the conference. Employees should be aware of the improvements in the employment law. IoD in North Wales is teaming up with professional bodies to host this event. Admission at the half-day legal conference is free of cost. The seats are limited and therefore advanced booking is required. The reservation will be done on first-come, first-served basis.

Lunch will be provided for those who attend the events. To book your seats at the FREE half-day legal conference you should contact Debbie Trotman on 02920 389 990 or email at iod.wales@iod.com.
