Watoto Children’s Choir to performs a free concert in West Norfolk

Watoto Children's ChoirPeople in West Norfolk can enjoy a breathtaking concert performed by Watoto Children’s Choir. Hosted by Downham Market Christian Fellowship, the free concert will be held on Friday 17 February. The coir consists of children who have been rescued by a Christian charity, Watoto based in Uganda. The children are offered with care and education at the Watoto Children’s Villages.

As part of their latest tour, Beautiful Africa the choir will be appearing in Downham and will perform in USA, Canada, Australia and South Africa. In the UK, the Choir will be performing at Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. The free concert is sure to be colourful and exciting with events like African music, fantastic dance routes and heart touching stories. Downham Market Christian Fellowship’s Nam Tong welcomed the choir in their town. He also invites the locals to the free concert that will be a wonderful experience.

Sovereign Centre, on Downham’s Trafalgar Industrial Estate is the venue for the concert. The free concert will begin at 7.00pm. Collections will be taken during the evening to support the work of Watoto. Bookings are not required for the event.
