Milton Keynes selected for free broadband trial

BT BroadbandBT, the finest Broadband provider in the UK is all set to offer free broadband trial in Milton Keynes. The firm was busy rolling out, broadband in different parts of the town throughout the last few months. As part of their fibre deployment programme worth £2.5 billion, the company will introduce 178 additional exchanges. By 2014, the provider hopes to connect two thirds of the UK with high-speed broadband connections.

Milton Keynes is now selected by BT for its free broadband trial. With this rollout, businesses across Milton Keynes could have access to high-speed broadband connection. As per the earlier announcements made by BT, exchange at Bradwell Abbey is requested to try out the advanced Fibre-to-the-Premises technology. Areas such as Ashford, Exeter, Leytonstone, Chester South, Forest Hill, Ilford Central, Highams Park, St Austell and York are also called for FTTP rollout.

Besides, properties and businesses at Kents Hill, Loughton, Middelton, Woolstones, Shenley Lodge, Monkston Park, Willen, Monkston, Woughton, Walnut Tree and Walton Park would be asked to participate in the trials. In order to participate in the free trails, businesses and firms can register with the BT Broadband’s website. Interested companies should register before 5th March and the trials will end by 5th June.
