Free Olympics tickets are offered for young runners

Aspiring young athletes and runners are given a wonderful opportunity to win Olympics tickets. Young runners who are eligible to run for their borough at the next spring’s junior London Marathon will get these free tickets. Organizers of the Marathon is offering1,700 free Olympics tickets in an attempt to encourage the young athletes. The tickets were purchased from the charity funds from the UK Athletics, the track and field governing body by London Marathon.

Young people aspiring to be athletes are given very little concern and the move to give incentives to young runners through free Olympics ticks will help them focus on their sport. They are given a chance to witness Olympic athletics, next summer. They can sit at the stadium watching their favourite athletes perform.

For every London borough there are 12 places to compete in the various races that are held for children 11 to 17 year olds. Young athletes will be escorted by their coaches to the games. In order to participate in the mini-marathon runners should get in touch with school PE coach. Mini-marathon, beginning from Old Billingsgate is run over final three miles of the entire London course. The marathon will end at The Mall. The runners of the April 22 mini-marathon can watch the game at the Olympic stadium on August 3 or 4.

In the coming months, young athletes from each area will be evaluated on the basis of their best times by their respective coaches.  The best runners will be chosen as winners. Same distance of the mini marathons will be covered in the qualifying events.
