Conergy offers Free Online Tool to boost UK solar projects

How does Conergizer work?

While free solar panels may sound easy and help people save huge on electricity bills, not all the homes and buildings qualify to have them installed. There can be obstructions such as chimneys, roofs or they may not be south-facing. Some installers even try to increase the number of panels to increase the power output but that does not always generate good returns. Using the techniques of 3D graphic modeling, the Conergizer lets users work out an installation plan that also goes hand-in-hand with aesthetics. The software accurately forecasts power generation for the year based on the installation plan. The tool has integrated within itself, a complete internal map of the climatic conditions in the UK with information on snow loads and maximum winds too. The software also enables its users to manipulate the return on investment rates.

Since its first release in Germany, the software has had over 10,000 installations. It’s UK version was launched recently during the commencement of the Green Building Week on the 19th of September.
