Dorset residents to get Free computer lessons in libraries

September 22nd, 2011 by Sandy

Dorset residents are again getting the chance of learning computers free of cost in the libraries during the autumn.

They can learn to surf the net, open email account and use it and so on. In fact they will be trained to learn everything about the household computer.

The classes will be of two hour duration, conducted by experienced teachers in the libraries at Dorchester, Gillingham, Swanage, Wareham, Weymouth etc.

Sharon Kirkpatrick of Dorset County Council is of the opinion that the people must make best use of this opportunity in learning ‘online’ activities. There are almost 10 million people who cannot handle the computer. It is not good. They must realize that the knowledge of computer enhances the living standard of the people and thereby that of the whole county.
