In view of the ‘Guardian and Observer books season’ the public can have Free downloads of seven ‘John le Carre’ audio books.
The first Free audio book is ‘Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy’ by Le Carre. It was shot as a movie and was a grand success in the UK.
The interesting story is about a Soviet double agent who managed to sneak secretly into the British Intelligent Service. He succeeded in causing enough damage to important networks and put an end to essential operations. George Smiley, a retired agent was summoned to investigate and locate the culprit among the five suspects. One suspect after the other was taken to task by him to determine the correct person. Finally he succeeded in catching the Russian. It is indeed a suspense novel.
