Google+ is Google’s new social networking platform that is buzzed to give Facebook a run in the market. Though similar, Google+ works differently than Facebook, and has a lot more features to it. Here is a quick look on what Google+ is all about.
Circles – ‘Circles’ groups your contacts together under categories like family, friends, college buddies, roomies etc. You simply have to drag-drop your friends from your Circles page into any of the groups. Circles make sharing a lot easier as you can share anything you want to, just among a particular group.
Sparks – ‘Sparks’, similar to Google Reader presents to you content based on your interests, automatically. Every topic will have its Spark page that would contain links to images, videos and articles related to the topic.
Hangouts – Using ‘Hangouts’, you can chat with friends in your circles in virtual chat rooms. It is a simple video chatting option.
Huddles – ‘Huddles’ offer group messaging with friends in your circle. You simply have to select the group with which you would like to initiate a chat.
Instant Upload – You can instantly upload photos from your Android phone to Google+ using the auto upload feature.
Google+ is currently available only an invitation basis to specific users and the date when it is going to be made accessible to everyone is still unknown. If you are looking for a free Google+ invite, you may leave you send your requests to editor@freeinuk.co.uk, we will send you an invite as soon as possible.
