The 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to be held in London is opening up great potential for different businesses in the UK. Though the event is scheduled to take place next year, businesses have already begun to participate, as part of the preparation. The business areas are diverse, including artists, construction, manufacturing sectors, performers, facilities, engineering, retail, catering etc. Over 50,000 contracts, worth £6 Billion are estimated to be required for the event. Tendering is an important aspect for any business to involve in the 2012 Games, and businesses are preparing themselves to compete and win contracts.
