There has been a free workshop “Cut Carbon Cut Costs” organized on Tuesday – June 11, 2019 at e-Space North, 181 Wisbech Road, Littleport, Ely, Cambs CB6 1RA and will be held between 8.30 am to 10 am.
As climate change and energy efficiency, this free workshop will help the businesses to know more about they can be more sustainable and lower their carbon outputs. The workshop will be hosted by the Business Energy Efficiency (BEE) programme in association with Enterprise East Cambs.
The experts will given an overview of the business case for making investments in energy efficiency, tell about importance of managing energy usage, best practices and how to find out the grant funding opportunities available.
With the help of funding from the European Regional Development Fund, BEE provides grant funding up to £20,000 for Heating & Cooling, Insulation, LED Lighting, Electric Vehicles and Solar PV & Battery Storage. Since launch of the BEE in 2017, it has helped more than 200 SMEs in cost savings and carbon reductions.
