There will be various free taster sessions on beading, pebble painting, flower arranging, origami and more activities held between May 11 to May 19, 2019 by the libraries in Denbighshire to mark Get Creative Festival Week.
Get Creative Festival is celebrated across the UK to encourage great cultural activity and people to offer them to try out some new and creative activity. There will be various activities taking place in the local areas where people can try out something in creative activities. This year the festival will be taking place between May 11 to May 19. This festival is hosted by individuals and Arts & Creative organizations in the country and supported by various local organizations and communities.
The library in Rhyl will join hands with Rhyl Create and host for activities such as beading, painting and making a felt brooch. Prestatyn Library will be conducting colouring. Denbigh library will tie up to host flower arranging with Haf Evans and origami by Linda Jones. Ruthin library will have designs of the patchwork and quilting group and the Woodland Skills Centre will bring creations with natural materials and resources.
