Free event of Making Tax Digital

UK government’s non-ministerial department – HM Revenue & Customs, are responsible for collection of taxes, payment of some state support and administering some regulatory regimes. HMRC has decided to move its tax system as fully digital based system. This is made to include all the taxpayers of landlords, self employed professionals and businesses. The new system will insist for those users of tax system to maintain their business records in digital mode using compatible software.

There has been a free event organized on Making Tax Digital on Monday – March 18, 2019 at University Centre Shrewsbury, Frankwell, Shrewsbury SY3 8HQ. The session will be held between 9.15 am to 11.30 am. The event has been organized by Marches Growth Hub.

The Marches Growth Hub, which is a part of government supported growth hub network, gives a single point of contact for getting access to guidance and information on business loans, grants, advice and support for the enterprises in the region. The hub was developed by The Marches Local Enterprise Partnership.

Making Tax Digital is being launched in a phased manner started with VAT return filing. So if you want to file VAT return, you are required to become a MTD compliant. The session will be helpful in understanding the digital system, whether you are handling your accounts on your own or outsourcing it.

Here the experts will discuss on the available solutions that include bridging software and 2 options of all-inclusive cloud accounting software. They help the businesses in record all the transactions and enable to link to the Making Tax Digital system of HMRC.
