There has been a free workshop on apprenticeships in the workplace for the employers organized by the North Norfolk District Council and will be held on Tuesday – March 12, 2019 at their offices, Holt Rd, Cromer NR27 9EN. The workshop will run from 4 pm to 6 pm.
The workshop is focused on the employers, organizations who have already employed apprentices and those want to know more information about it. The participants can meet and interact with apprenticeship training agencies, training providers and Apprenticeships Norfolk Network at this event.
As apprenticeship is playing an important role in improving the skill levels and supporting the business growth, it is essential to get knowledge on the subject by the employers. They can also come to learn on how to increase the levy on apprenticeship such as transfer of funds to other organizations etc and also learn on funding opportunities available for them.
Sarah Butikofer – NNDC Leader said that apprenticeships are one of the best ways in the work place benefiting both young people by gaining skills, knowledge and improving their qualifications and the employers by getting good skilled people. She is very impressed by the apprentices for their great energy and enthusiasm that they are working as a part of the team at the council. She encourages those having idea of employing apprenticeships and to work as an apprentice to take part in the session.
