There has been free entry to an exhibition “Brick History” hosted by the Hull History Centre from Saturday – January 12 to Saturday – March 9, 2019. The exhibition is running at Hull History Centre, Worship Street, Hull HU2 8BG from Monday to Friday between 9.30 am to 5.30 pm and on Saturday between 9 am to 4.30 pm. The Hull City Council has brought this exhibition along with the support of the University of Hull.
This is a great exhibition that brings famous milestones of history and brought their imaginations in the form of Lego bricks. The visitors can find wonderful Lego creations that covers Concorde, the Titanic and a Medieval castle and featuring 30+ models by Warrent Elsmore. There will also be some Lego to play with for the visitors.
The Lego Artist Warrent Elsmore has brought the importance of world history by using Danish toy. The exhibition also showcases the important figures Martin Luther King to Mozart and various scientific discoveries and mobile phones history.
Simon Wilson – University archivist said that this is the first brick history exhibition happening in the Humber region with the help of funds to offer free admission for two months.
Chair of Hull Culture and Leisure Ltd and Councillor Marjorie Brabazon said that the centre has already exhibited Lego & craft history makers events monthly in recent years and this brick history is a great thing of bringing history to be enjoyable more by kids.
